Norma and Ken's Success Story

Julie Lingler of Mason, Ohio has what most people think is the "dream life". Married to her college sweetheart, David, an accountant, and mother to two healthy boys, she spends her days juggling between her job as a social worker at Cancer Family Care and raising her wonderful family. When she thought about the women who couldn't have families of their own, she wanted to help. That's why she became an egg donor. Little did she know that Norma and Ken Rombouts of Ottawa, Canada would be forever grateful to Julie for that decision to help. Norma and Ken made numerous trips to Cincinnati based on the high recommendations of our treatments from their Canadian doctor. With a frozen embryo, Norma became pregnant and gave birth to baby Connor! Two years later, Norma wanted to give Connor a baby brother or sister and thought it would be extra special if he could have a full biological sibling. Did doctors think that Connor's donor would be willing to donate again? Sure she would, even at her advanced age (36!). Nine months later, Connor was pleased to announce the he had not only a brother OR a sister, but one of each!
